Barbecue Bob started grinding out some great blues in the NYC area starting back in 1981, and has continually proved that gritty low-down blues still has a home here in the tri-state area and beyond. Blues Suede News says “They tip their hats to roots music with a modicum of respect, but they also wriggle their eyebrows at it with Jack Nicholson faceitiousness…”
Enzo & the Bakers have been performing their mix of classic soul, blues and rock & roll to packed houses all over northern NJ for many years. The vocals & guitars of Anthony Tamburro & Lou Bevere take the harmonies of Sam & Dave, the soulfulness of the blues, and mix it up with the live energy of rock & roll.
Better Off Dead just released their new disc – “Girls, Guns and Money” – which has proved to be popular with listener’s of the “Blues & the Beat” radio show. Mixing blues with some catchy lyrics and good ol’ fashioned rock & roll is their specialty.
